In 2014 Australia became the most preferred overseas travel destination for Chinese visitors. During the 12 month period the number of Chinese visitors to Australia grew by 17.8% contributing 5.7 billion dollars to the Australian economy. The New Visitor Economy will focus on the new local economic opportunities created by the increasing number of Chinese visitors to Sydney and the freeing up of trade between China and Australia through the signing of the China Australia Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in Canberra this year on June 17.
The morning’s event will consist of presentations from the following three outstanding speakers followed by a panel Q & A session.
